Edmonton is now the most affordable major Canadian city for renters, with one-bedroom rents averaging $1,310, down 2.2% year-over-year. While Ontario and British Columbia cities like Vancouver and Toronto see significant rent declines, prairie cities such as Saskatoon and Regina experience rent growth. Overall, Canadian rents have declined for ten consecutive months due to increased housing supply, slower population growth, and affordability challenges.
